Critics' Choice Television Awards 2015 - I VincitoriNella notte del 31 maggio 2015 non serviva guardare il cielo per vedere tante stelle tutte insieme. Le stelle di cui stiamo parlando, con residenza ad Hollywood, si sono riunite la scorsa domenica al Beverly Hilton Hotel, dove si è tenuta la quarta edizione dei Critics’ Choice Television Awards presentati Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance).

Gli awards, ospitati quest’anno dal canale A&E, avevano il compito di premiare il meglio della televisione statunitense, partendo dagli show, fino alle interpretazioni degli attori che ne hanno fanno parte. Le nomination, stilate dalla Broadcast Television Journalists Association, sono andate prevalentemente ad HBO, che ne ha collezionate 27, e a FX, che si è fermata a 16. Le serie più nominate sono state Justified (FX) e Olive Kitteridge (HBO) con 5 nomination a testa. The Americans (FX), Bessie (HBO), The Good Wife (CBS), Transparent (Amazon) e Wolf Hall (PBS) si sono fermate a 4 ciascuna. Noioso provinciale milanese, mi interesso di storytelling sia per la TV che per la pubblicità (in fondo che differenza c'è?!). Criticante per vocazione e criticato per aspirazione, mi avvicino alla serialità a fine anni '90 con i vampiri e qualche anno dopo con delle signore disperate. Cosa voglio fare da grande? L'obiettivo è quello di raccontare storie nuove in modo nuovo. Intanto studio, perché il pezzo di carta è importante, si sa!     A differenza di altre occasioni questi premi sono molto più congrui con in reali valori delle serie. Non avrei premiato gli attori di Better Call Saul, ma avrei dato il riconoscimento agli interpreti maschili di Justified, così come il best drama che, con tutto il rispetto per The Americans, Justified quest’anno lo merita a mani basse.
