Come da tradizione, anche quest’anno è andata in onda di domenica sera (la nostra notte) da Los Angeles la cerimonia di premiazione per gli Emmy Awards 2024, la numero 76. A condurre la serata sono stati Eugene e Dan Levy, in un inedito duetto padre-figlio che ci ha ricordato inevitabilmente i fasti di Schitt’s Creek.
A dominare la serata sono state alcune serie a noi ben note, come The Bear tra le comedy – anche se la vittoria di Hacks nella categoria più importante ha sicuramente sorpreso molti. Shōgun porta a casa la statuetta per la migliore serie drammatica, per un totale di 18, diventando così la serie che ha vinto il maggior numero di premi in un’unica annata. Ci sono però anche altri premi importanti che riguardano Baby Reindeer, Fargo e The Crown.
